Designed by the Miami-based firm Arquitectonica and opened in 2002, the Westin hotel is already something of a Times Square landmark for its eye-catching glass exterior. An arc running the length of the building splits it in two; blues on the western half contrast sharply with vibrant orange-pink hues on its eastern side. The whole effect is magnified at night by lights shooting up the façade and into the sky. This multicolored, 45-story, prism-shaped hotel is connected to the E-Walk entertainment and retail complex in Times Square.

How to get to the Westin Hotel Times SquareDriving directions from LaGuardia Airport:- 10.5 miles Take Grand Central Pkwy W to Exit 4 and bear right onto the Brooklyn Queens Expwy E (I-278). At Exit 35, take the Long Island Expwy (I-495) and proceed through the Queens Midtown Tunnel. Merge onto Tunnel Exit St (SR-495) and turn right onto 8th Ave. Turn right onto Rodgers & Hammerstein Row (W 44th St), then right onto 7th Ave. Turn right onto Leon Davis St (Adolph S Ochs St) and proceed to the hotel.
