New York –City of Glitz, Glamour and Style gets its pen name as the ‘Big Apple’ because it has space for everyone. It is a hyperactive city with not a moment to loose.
But New York's famous hustle and bustle was abruptly cut short on 11 September 2001 when a terrorist attack in the form of two hijacked passenger aircraft razed the gleaming twin towers of the World Trade Center. Thousands of people were killed in the worst terrorist act ever on US
soil. Without question, the destruction of the World Trade Center changed New York City.
But rest assured that the city still has plenty to see and do -- more, in fact, than you'll ever be able to experience in one visit.
In a city that is so much a part of the global subconscious, it's pretty hard to pin down the USP as each attraction has contributed towards New York’s
popularity. There are the unforgettable landmarks that teach and remind each New Yorker, about New York and its history. Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, Central Park and Times Square are just some of the unique symbols of respect, freedom and peace.
