U.S. Open Tennis Championship: New York City is proud to be the home of the U.S. Open Tennis Championship, as it has shown to be a major highlight of its sporting landscape. With its ability to drive tourism and spending during the two-week period in August and September, the U.S. Open has the greatest economic impact on New York City of any sporting event. Every year the U.S. Open Tennis Championship is held at the USTA National Tennis Center.
